Workers' Compensation:

The district, in accordance with state law, may provide workers’ compensation benefits to employees who suffer a work-related illness or are injured on the job. The district's workers' compensation provider is the Texas Association of School Boards Risk Management Fund, a member of the Political Subdivision Workers’ Compensation Alliance (the Alliance.)

All work-related accidents or injuries should be reported immediately to the employee’s supervisor and Monica Plowman, Human Resources Specialist. Employees will then be notified of their rights and responsibilities under the Texas Labor Code.
