Welcome to Everman ISD’s Attendance Page! We believe good attendance is essential for every student’s success, as studies show that daily classroom participation boosts academic performance and social-emotional growth. In Texas, compulsory attendance laws require all children ages 6–19 to attend school each day. This also applies to children who are voluntarily enrolled in pre-kindergarten or kindergarten before age six, as well as students 19 and older who remain in school.

To help families meet these requirements, Everman ISD offers Attendance for Credit & Truancy programs that address both state law and district policy while supporting parents and students.

Key Highlights

• Submit Absence Documentation: Within 72 hours (3 days) of your child’s return to school.

• Parent Notes: Only 4 handwritten parent notes are accepted per semester. Beyond that, a doctor’s note or other official documentation is needed.

• 90% Rule: Students must attend at least 90% of each class to earn credit.

• Truancy Enforcement: If a student has 10 unexcused absences in a 6-month period, parents may face court referrals.
