About C & I

The Curriculum & Instruction Department exists to ensure every student in Everman ISD has access to high-quality, grade-level instruction every day. Through intentional systems of support, we partner with campus leaders and teachers to strengthen teaching and learning across the district.

Our work is grounded in four core priorities:

High-Quality Tier 1 Instruction

  • Ensure all students engage with rigorous, standards-aligned learning experiences.

  • Support implementation of high-quality instructional materials and research-based instructional practices.

  • Promote student ownership, engagement, and academic success.

Professional Learning & Leadership Development

  • Provide job-embedded professional learning that strengthens instructional practice.

  • Support campus leaders through coaching, feedback, and continuous improvement cycles.

  • Build collective efficacy through collaborative learning and shared leadership.

Data-Informed Decision Making

  • Utilize multiple sources of data to monitor student progress and instructional effectiveness.

  • Facilitate structured data review processes that inform campus and district action planning.

  • Support timely interventions and enrichment opportunities for students.

Systems of Support

  • Collaborate across departments to ensure equitable access to services and resources.

  • Strengthen instructional systems that support special populations and diverse learner needs.

  • Align curriculum, assessment, professional learning, and leadership practices to advance student achievement.

We believe exceptional outcomes for students occur when strong systems, effective instruction, and meaningful relationships work together. Our role is to support campuses in creating learning environments where every student is challenged, supported, and empowered to succeed.

Together, these priorities support Everman ISD's commitment to One Goal, One Purpose: Student Success.
