Today marked a monumental milestone for Texas Wesleyan University and Everman Independent School District!
We are thrilled to announce a groundbreaking partnership focused on strengthening the teacher pipeline and empowering the next generation of educators. Through this collaboration, Texas Wesleyan University now offers a clear pathway for Everman ISD students who aspire to become teachers.
Thanks to the generosity of the Everman Education Foundation and the significant tuition reduction provided by Texas Wesleyan, this opportunity comes at no cost to our students. As part of the initiative, students can earn up to 12 hours of dual credit through the Education and Training CTE Pathway—giving them a head start on their journey to becoming certified educators.
This transformative initiative provides an incredible opportunity for our students to pursue their passion for education. The excitement across the district is undeniable as we celebrate this milestone for our students, our schools, and our community.
