Did you know that one of the best ways to help your child remember what they learn is to have them teach it back to you? When students explain what they learned in their own words, it strengthens their long-term memory and helps new information “stick.”

Try this at home: Ask your child, “What’s one thing you learned today that you could teach me?”

Then listen as they explain, and end with encouragement—“You explained that so well!”
