Campus Safe and Drug-Free Plan
CNA: To develop and implement strategies for all students and staff that positively impact the safe environment necessary for student learning. To provide multiple opportunities for students to learn and practice characteristics of productive, community-minded citizens
Bishop Elementary School strives to create a safe and drug-free environment. The 2018-2019 goal for illegal drugs and violent incidences is to have zero incidences on Bishop’s campus.
In order to reach our goal and convey the clear and consistent message that the illegal use of drugs and acts of violence is wrong and harmful, Bishop Elementary plans to provide instruction in substance abuse and gangs through the Bishop’s Character Program. During the week of October 22-26, Bishop will have “Red Ribbon” week to bring a focus on how to be drug free.
During the week of November 5-9, Bishop will focus on an “Anti-Bully Program” to promote safety at school.
