2017 - 2018 Online Pre-K Registration
Registration Requirements:
Registration is done on individual campuses. The front office will help you through the procedure or direct you to the counselor's office as necessary. Some campuses may require additional items. Please feel free to call with any questions.
Please bring these items when you register for the first time in Everman ISD:
- Legal birth certificate (student)
- Immunization record (student)
- Last report card (student)
- Social security card (student)
- Driver’s license or identification card (parent)
- Proof of residence:
- Current utility bill (no older than 30 days)
- Lease agreement
- Mortgage statement
- Phone and cable bills are NOT accepted.
Since the Pre-K is a full-day program, by law Everman ISD must follow the regulations set by the Texas Education Agency to determine which students are eligible to attend Pre-K. Children are eligible for Pre-Kindergarten if they are 4 years old on or before September 1, 2017, AND meet one of the following criteria:
- The child is limited in the English language, meaning the child is unable to speak or understand the English language. The parent must complete the Home Language Survey and the child must qualify based on the test results from the Pre-IDEA Proficiency Test (Pre-IPT) OR
- The child is educationally (economically) disadvantaged. Eligibility is based on the Department of Agriculture Income Eligibility Guidelines Form H4504 (published August 2013). The parent must furnish CURRENT proof of income and complete an income chart at enrollment OR
- The child is educationally (economically) disadvantaged. Eligibility is based on the family’s Temporary Assistance to Needy Families (TANF) Eligibility Number (EDG#) or the family’s Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) Eligibility Number (EDG#). This is a 9 or 10 digit number beginning with a “1” or “0”. The parent must furnish the eligibility confirmation letter with the TANF or SNAP EDG#. OR
- The child is homeless, as defined by 42 USC Section 11302. The child lacks a regular residence and is currently residing in a home, hotel/motel, campground or public/private shelter designed to provide temporary living accommodations. The parent must provide documentation from the nighttime residence. OR
- The child has a parent or legal guardian that is an active-duty member of the Armed Forces of the United States, including state military forces and reserved military forces, who is ordered to active duty by the US Government. This includes uniformed members who are Missing in Action (MIA). The parent must furnish official documentation. OR
- The child has a parent or legal guardian that is a member of the Armed Forces of the United States, including state military forces and reserved military forces, who was permanently injured or killed while serving on active duty. The parent must furnish official documentation. OR
- The child has ever been in conservatorship (foster care) of the Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS) following an adversary hearing under Section 262.201. This includes children returned home, kinship placements, and adopted. The parent must furnish official documentation sent by DFPS.

Desde pre-kinder es un programa de día completo, por ley Everman ISD debe seguir las normas establecidas por la Agencia de Educación de Texas para determinar qué estudiantes reúnen los requisitos para asistir a Pre-Kínder. Los niños/a son elegibles para el Pre-Kínder si tienen 4 años de edad en o antes del 01 de septiembre 2017 Y cumplen con uno de los siguientes criterios:
- El niño/a tiene conocimiento limitado del idioma inglés, esto significa que el niño es incapaz de hablar o entender el idioma inglés. Los padres deben completar la encuesta de lenguaje y el niño debe calificar en base a los resultados del examen de la Prueba de Aptitud Pre-IDEA (Pre- IPT) O
- El niño/a está en desventaja educativa (económica). Elegibilidad se basa en la Guía de Elegibilidad de Ingresos Forma H4504 del Departamento de Agricultura (publicado en agosto de 2013). Los padres deben proporcionar comprobantes de ingresos y completar una tabla de ingresos en la inscripción O
- El niño/a está en desventaja educativa (económica). Elegibilidad se basa en el Programa de Asistencia de Nutrición Suplementaria (SNAP) de la familia o el Número de Elegibilidad (EDG #) de Asistencia Temporal para Familias Necesitadas (TANF). Este es un número de 9 o10 cifras comenzando con un "1" o "0". El padre debe proporcionar la carta de elegibilidad con el numero EDG# de SNAP o TANF O
- El niño/a no tiene hogar, según lo definido por el 42 USC Sección 11302. El niño/a carece de una residencia regular y en la actualidad residen en un hogar, hotel/motel, campamento o refugio público/privado diseñado para proporcionar alojamiento temporal. Los padres deben presentar documentación de la residencia nocturna. O
- El niño/a tiene un padre o tutor legal que es un miembro activo de las Fuerzas Armadas de los Estados Unidos, incluyendo fuerzas militares estatales y fuerzas militares de reserva, que está ordenada al servicio activo por el Gobierno de los EE.UU.. Esto incluye los miembros uniformados que están desaparecidos en acción (MIA). Los padres deberán presentar la documentación oficial. O
- El niño/a tiene un padre o tutor legal que es miembro de las Fuerzas Armadas de los Estados Unidos, incluyendo fuerzas militares estatales y fuerzas militares de reserva, que resultó herido de forma permanente o muerto mientras prestaba servicio activo. Los padres deberán presentar la documentación oficial. O
- El niño/a ha estado alguna vez bajo la tutela (hogares de crianza) del Departamento de Servicios Familiares y de Protección (DFPS) después de una audiencia adversaria bajo la sección 262.201. Esto incluye a los niños que regresaron a casa, las colocaciones de parentesco, y los adoptados. El padre debe proporcionar la documentación oficial enviada por el DFPS.

To be classified as a new student to the district, a student must NOT have been enrolled in an Everman ISD school on the last day of the 2016-2017 school year.
