    Everman Independent School District, home to Joe C Bean High School, is located in the rapidly growing Dallas/Fort Worth corridor. EISD serves the city of Everman and portions of South Fort Worth, Forest Hill, and Burleson.

     

    Everman ISD provides outstanding instructional programs for pre-kindergarten through grade twelve. The faculty and support staff are committed to providing a quality education for all students. The schools provide innovative programs with the financial backing needed to achieve an outstanding education.

    Each semester consists of three 6-week grading periods. Students have the opportunity to complete 8 units of credit over the course of the school year.

     

    ATTENDANCE REQUIREMENTS

     

    Attendance is critical to academic success. Students are required to be in attendance for at least 90% of each class period per semester in order to receive credit. Excessive absences may result in loss of credit.

    Students will choose at least one Endorsement option:  STEM, Business and Industry, Public Services, Arts and Humanities, or Multidisciplinary Studies. Each endorsement typically requires 4-5 specific courses in a concentrated program of study. 


    Students may earn one or more  Performance Acknowledgements through Dual Credit, Bilingualism, Biliteracy, Languages Other Than English, Advanced Placement, PSAT/SAT/ACT, or a Business & Industry Certification.

    CURRICULUM

     

    Joe C Bean High School offers on-level, Honors , AP, and  Dual Credit courses to include two workforce education programs leading to postsecondary Level 1 certificates.  Additionally, we offer 6 career and technical education (CTE) programs of study that provide opportunities for business and industry certification(s).

     

    Joe C Bean High School is the parent school of Everman Collegiate High School, a school within-a-school model for Everman ISD’s Early College High School programs in partnership withTarrant County College, South Campus.
