    Assistant Principal - Anjessica Moffitt

My name is Anjessica Moffitt, and I am honored to serve as an Assistant Principal at Joe C. Bean High School.  I am a proud Dallas Texan, graduated high school from The Humanities/Communications Magnet Program at Dallas Lincoln High School, attended Xavier University in New Orleans, Louisiana, and received my Bachelor of Arts in Kinesiology & Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from the University of Texas at Arlington.

I started my career in education with Fort Worth ISD as a Biology, Chemistry, and Physics TAKS teacher in 2008 at Oscar Dean Wyatt High School. Since 2009, I’ve been working for Everman ISD, where I am entering into my thirteenth year as an educator.  In 2009, I served as the 8th-grade girls' Physical Education Teacher at Everman Jr. High School while coaching JV volleyball and 8th-grade girls' basketball. In 2010, I moved to Everman High School, where I taught high school girls Physical Education and I coached 9th-grade girls basketball and JV volleyball.  In 2013, I moved back into the classroom as an AVID Instructor. In 2016, I became the Head Varsity Volleyball Coach at Everman High School. During the summer of 2018, I was chosen to serve as the Summer School Assistant Principal at Everman High School. Prior to becoming an administrator, I was the AVID Site Co-Coordinator &  AVID Department Chair.  I served 2 yrs as an Assistant Principal at Everman High School from 2018-2020.

I love spending most of my spare time with my family.  I married my husband, Tommy Moffitt, in 2012, and together we have two sons, Aiden and Andrew.  My son, Aiden Moffitt, is a select 11U baseball player for Team Citius USA, select basketball player for TEAM JUICE, and a straight “A” student.  My son Andrew is only in kindergarten, but he is close on his brother's heels as he also plays select youth sports in basketball and baseball. These three guys definitely keep me busy traveling and supporting them in practices and tournaments.

I am passionate about public education and helping ALL students achieve success.  All my life I have been driven by my strong belief that every child should have access to a high-quality education.  Education changes lives.  I know it changed mine.  No child should be denied the transformative power of a great education.  I truly believe that education is the key to success, and every child can experience academic excellence. I look forward to serving the high school campus staff, students, parents, and community with the highest level of humility and fidelity this school year!
