Imagination Celebration

The Imagination Celebration program for Everman ISD students provides enrichment opportunities outside the classrooms for all of our students.

Through our involvement with the Bass Performance Hall Education Program grades 1-12 have at least one opportunity to attend a performance at Bass Performance Hall during the school year. All programs are preceded by interactive classroom instruction from the performers and/or teachers. By the time the students attend the performance they are already aware of the program, some of the history of the performance and know something of the artist(s).

Grades Pre-K through 12 have at least one opportunity to attend a performance at the Nelda Winnett Auditorium at Everman Joe C. Bean High School during the school year. The programs are presented by a variety of professional, accomplished artists. The programs range from old time Texas fiddle music to performances by the Fort Worth Opera. The performers come from the Fort Worth area and from outside Texas. We continually try to include at least one international performance. All performances are designed especially for school age children and are preceded by interactive classroom instruction from the performers and/or teachers.

We continue our association with Casa Mañana that allows our students to attend performances in the "theater in the round." At Casa Mañana our students are allowed a view of historical and fairy tale characters that they cannot get in the classroom.

We are deeply grateful for the financial support of our sponsors who make all of these performances available to our students.
