Pictured, left to right: Alyson Rotan, Nancy Kay, Reagan Warner, Sukassa Chapman, and Cathy Sewell.

Townley third-grader Reagan Warner is Everman ISD's top winner in the TEAM UP: Kid's College Thanksgiving Contest.

Kid's College is a K-8 skill building program that combines sports video games and standards based skills practice to build on each student's proficiency with math, science, and language arts skills tested on state-aligned measures. Participants in the Thanksgiving Contest included members of Boys and Girls Clubs of Arlington and students from Everman, Arlington, Birdville, Castleberry, Fort Worth, and Keller ISDs.

Reagan was the top winner out of the 800 students in Everman ISD who participated.

Cathy Sewell, Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum and Instruction for Everman ISD, headed up the TEAM UP program within Everman ISD. Reagan's teachers at John and Polly Townley Elementary School are Alyson Rotan and Sukassa Chapman. Nancy Kay, principal at Townley, and other school administrators also were involved in the program. Tarrant County Youth Collaboration project manager, Kasey Logan and director, Tacia Torres oversaw the program.

Congratulations to Reagan on this outstanding accomplishment!
