2012 Summer School Program

All programs June 11–July 26, Monday–Thursday.
No school the week of July 4th.

Program Location
Pre-K/Kindergarten-Bilingual and ESL Program
Program is for Pre-K and K students who qualify for participation in the Bilingual or ESL Program, during the upcoming school year.		 Bishop Elementary

Elementary Program (by invitation only)
Grades 1-4 will be assigned for academic support.		 Bishop Elementary
Intermediate/Middle Program
Program is for students who have failed for attendance/promotion in grades 5-8 and students who qualify for advanced summer coursework. There will be opportunity for credit acceleration for students who qualify.		 Baxter Junior High
Secondary Program
Students in grades 9-12 who need to retest for EXIT-TAKS or EOC will be assigned, as well as students who need credit recovery for grades/attendance. There will be programming for students who qualify for credit acceleration and students who need SAT test and college prep coursework.

Alternative Education
Grades 5-8 will be assigned by individual need.  Community Academic program will be launched for Grades 9-11. (Invitation only)		 Dan Powell Intermediate
