About PDF Files
A single web page is usually made up of many files which all must be loaded before the page can be displayed or printed. By their nature, web pages cannot be designed to insure that they will look the same on various monitors and printouts.
PDF (Portable Document Format) allows all graphics, fonts, and formatting to be contained in a single file. When PDFs are opened with Adobe Reader or another PDF reader, the original formatting of the file is retained. PDFs are often used for forms, legal documents, brochures, and other documents where a particular layout is important.
If you cannot open PDFs, download and install the free Adobe Reader. ![]()
